    Spirulina is a microalga of phytoplankton with characteristic blue-green colour. It is a multivalent filamentous organism, frequently spirally shaped (thus its name) thriving in fresh or sea water. Although invisible to bare eye it is a wonder organism!     No one can answer such a question with a yes or no. Spirulina produced in Greece at Therma Nigrita’s grows under highly favourable conditions and safety, protected in green houses. The strain has been carefully selected for its substantially nutritious profile and in conjunction with the high quality of the water used the resulting product has excellent quality. Further the Greek Spirulina is a domestic product and thus it supports the local economy.

  6. How does intake of Spirulina helps weight control?

    Spirulina if taken at least half an hour before meals with a couple of glasses of water, has the capacity to create a feeling of satiation refraining from the consumption of high amounts of food. Ideally, it should be taken one to two hours before eating at maximum daily intake.
